so of course ive made the eyes glaze over for 99% of my readers, ALL RIGHT. what i meant to highlight earlier is that should you expect something DYNAMIC in your template, then it requires a bit of intervention. the wordpress admin interface may allow you to print a “random header image” if the theme supports this, or you can hack this in through a “theme options” panel. what about the rest of the template. some would suggest you change the theme, but thats global, when you want something to happen at runtime while users are browsing. thats when you template design starts to become a lot like publishing content. in fact, one has to use the content publishing tools to provide the media which a dynamic template would be utilizing for variety.
